A new flagship for the S line
With the S10, JURA presented a new flagship for its S line in September 2026. According to the maker from Niederbuchsiten in Switzerland, the line combines the best of the compact class with elements from the premium segment. The S10 is meant to mark another milestone in this premium mid-segment: on a width of just 27 centimetres, the automatic machine brings together four worlds of indulgence, 45 specialities and a range of new convenience features.
On the outside, JURA relies on details in solid die-cast zinc, clearly defined lines and a sculptural form. The machine is meant to read as a premium product at first glance without taking up more space than a compact model.

Four worlds of indulgence, 45 specialities
The S10 covers four ways of drinking coffee in a single machine. Alongside Hot Brew, the classic hot specialities, there are Light Brew, Cold Brew and specialities with Sweet Foam. In total, 45 drinks are available. Four user profiles store personal preferences, so a favourite drink is always just a tap away. In a household where one person drinks espresso in the morning and another a milk coffee, that is more than a gimmick.
Intense Cold Brew: cold, but bold
JURA sees the real highlight in the new Intense Cold Brew. Behind it is an additional extraction process developed by the company. Traditional cold brew is prized for its freshness and lightness, whereas the intense version focuses on developing bold flavours. To achieve this, water is passed through the ground coffee particularly slowly and under high pressure. Drop by drop, a drink with exceptional aromatic depth and harmonious richness emerges.
The machine takes around 15 minutes to prepare 100 millilitres of Intense Cold Brew. The result is refreshing, distinctly more intense and contains more caffeine than the familiar JURA Cold Brew. The company therefore recommends it not only as a treat but also as an energy boost for everyday life. For comparison: steeped the classic way in a jar, cold brew sits in the fridge for 12 to 16 hours, as our cold brew recipe shows.

Grinder, Coffee Eye and Milk Assistant
Coffee quality is handled by the P.A.G.2+ precision grinder with aroma control, which monitors the setting and supports adjusting it to the chosen speciality. It is complemented by the Coffee Eye, which automatically detects the position of the cup and shows on the screen where it should stand for preparation.
For milk specialities there is a professional fine foam frother that prepares milk and milk foam in the right consistency. New is the Milk Assistant: it makes switching between different types of milk easier and reminds you to rinse the milk system when necessary. JURA explicitly sees this as a response to the growing demand for plant-based milk alternatives. How oat, soy and dairy milk differ when frothed is explained in our milk foam guide.
Touchscreen and app
The S10 is operated via a responsive 4.3-inch touchscreen with a new user interface. Features such as Easy Mode, Quality Assistant and the personal user profiles are meant to make it particularly intuitive. In combination with the J.O.E. app, the Coffee Timer even lets you plan in advance when a speciality will be prepared, for instance so that the first coffee of the morning is ready on time.

The verdict
With the S10, JURA sets out to redefine the premium mid-segment: compact dimensions, high quality materials and a choice of drinks that runs from espresso to a bold cold brew. The company aims the machine at anyone who does not just drink coffee but wants to experience it in ever-changing ways.
